Kim grew up in New Hampshire and earned her design degree from Chamberlayne School of Design in Boston A.A.S and bachelor’s degree from New College SF in Humanities.
She began her career in education as a preschool and kindergarten teacher in Massachusetts and San Francisco before taking her current position at Blue Oak School. She also spent 10 months teaching in Mozambique. Her hobbies include cooking, art, reading, dancing, running.
She is a mother of 2 boys, one who will graduate from Blue Oak in 2018. She loves working at Blue Oak because of the intimate setting and whole child approach to teaching, She appreciates the academic balance along with with emotional and social care that a Blue Oak School education has provided to both her boys.
