AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS

Aftercare

Aftercare is a supervised program exclusively for Blue Oak Lower and Middle School students, designed for families requiring childcare at the end of the school day.  In the Aftercare program, children play outside, eat healthy snacks, engage in activities such as cooking, crafts, and games, and get a head start on homework. Supervision lasts from dismissal time until 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.

After-School Classes

Blue Oak School offers after school classes to K-8, Blue Oak School students and students from the greater community. Designed to provide meaningful learning opportunities, after school classes offer a wide range of subjects, allowing children to explore new interests and hone their talents.

Blue Oak School offers camps on days when school is closed for classes on one-day holidays (e.g. President’s Day, Veteran’s Day), parent conferences, teacher development days and during Thanksgiving and winter break.  These camps are often 1 to 3 days long and offer fun themes, projects and activities.
