While the majority of our students come from Napa, the Blue Oak community includes families from Calistoga, St. Helena, Rutherford, Yountville, American Canyon, Vallejo, Fairfield and Sonoma, along with families who have recently arrived in California from New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Washington,  and Oregon. Blue Oak’s eighth-grade graduates enroll in high schools near and far.

Accreditation

Blue Oak is the first and only non-denominational K-8 school in the Napa Valley that is fully accredited by the California Association of Independent Schools and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, with full membership in the National Association of Independent Schools. Blue Oak is also an active member of the Progressive Education Network founded over a century ago to create a national network of progressive schools.
