The Acorn Fund
Acorn Fund: Blue Oak School’s Annual Fund
The Acorn Fund brings The Blue Oak Difference to life. Through this vital community effort, current families, grandparents, alumni, faculty, and friends come together to ensure our students have access to outstanding teachers, innovative curriculum, and learning experiences that extend far beyond the classroom.
Like all independent schools, tuition covers only part of what it takes to deliver an extraordinary education. The Acorn Fund is the foundation for everything that makes our school unique.
Each year, every family is asked to contribute to the Acorn Fund with a gift that is meaningful to them. Every donation, no matter the size, directly enhances the student experience and strengthens our community. Together, we ensure Blue Oak students thrive.

The Acorn Fund in Action: What Your Gift Makes Possible
The Acorn Fund strengthens and sustains the educational experience of a Bue Oak student each and every day.
Funds raised through the Acorn Fund support:
- Small Classroom Communities: Intentionally small class sizes where every child is seen, known, and supported—fostering connection, confidence, and academic growth
- Exceptional Teachers: Ongoing professional development that empowers our passionate educators to bring innovation, expertise, and fresh ideas into every classroom.
- Specialist Programs that Enrich Learning: Dedicated instruction in Spanish, Music, Art, PE, Mindfulness, and Library—ensuring every student benefits from a well-rounded, joyful education.
- Experiential Learning Without Barriers: All field trips, BreakAway! experiences, and athletics are included—so every student can participate, explore, and grow beyond the classroom, without additional costs to families.
Our Goal for the 2025-2026 School Year: $150,000
