Applications for Fall 2027 Available October 1, 2026

Choosing a school is a personal decision, and we’re here to make the process clear and straightforward. From your first conversation with our team, to a visit on campus, to submitting your application and supplemental information, you’ll have opportunities to discover the people, classrooms, and everyday moments that make Blue Oak a vibrant and collaborative community. ADMISSIONS CHECKLIST AND IMPORTANT DATES & DEADLINES:

1. Visit Blue Oak  – Register in Advance through the Visit Us page of this website                                                                                     Parent/Guardian Tour – adults only, please                                                                                                                                                        • Middle School:  Wednesdays on select dates, 9:00-10:30 am                                                                                                                  • TK & Lower School:  Thursdays on select dates, 9:00-10:30 am

Student Shadow Day:  For students eligible to apply for Fall 2027                                                                                                             • Middle School:  Wednesdays, 8:45 am – 12:50 pm                                                                                                                                   • Lower School (Grades 1–5):  Thursdays, 8:45 am – 12:00pm

       Family Showcase:  Structured event for the whole family                                                                                                                             • Fall Family Showcase: Saturday, October 17, 2026 at 1:00pm (After the Napa Children Business Fair on campus)               • Winter Family Showcase: Sunday, February 7, 2027 at 1:00pm (STEM Event)                                                                                     • Spring Family Showcase: Saturday, April 24, 2027

2. 3. Supplemental Documentation & Information:                       

Student Records:  Due February 15, 2027
               • Submit all school records from this year and last year, including standardized test results (if applicable)                                 • Provide the Student Records Release Request to your child’s current school                                                                                   • Student Records Release Request available here or in the online application

Teacher Recommendation:  Due February 15, 2027
                • Provide your child’s current teacher with the confidential form. Teachers must mail or email completed forms                       directly to [email protected]                                                                                                                                            • Forms are available in the online application or click below for the appropriate form:                                                                            TK Form; Kindergarten Form; Lower School Form;  Middle School Form

Student Statement:  For applicants grades 6–8
              • Middle School applicants will complete this form after their shadow day visit                                                                                  • Return form to [email protected]

Student Assessment:  February 27, 2027
             • All applicants participate in group assessments on the Blue Oak campus                                                                                         • Assessment times vary by grade

4. Indexed Tuition: 

We believe a Blue Oak education should be accessible to families with a range of financial circumstances. Indexed Tuition considers each family’s situation rather than applying a fixed rate to all. Apply for Indexed Tuition through the Affordability and Tuition page of this website
